So my birthday was 2 weeks ago. And people, who know my heart and its deepest desires, gave me gift certificates for Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

msscribe), I got the PoA DVD (Full Screen edition because that's what my sisters like) and a Sue Monk Kidd book, When the Heart Waits : Spiritual Direction for Life's Sacred Questions. I loved The Secret Life of Bees, and wanted to look into more of her work.
From BN.com (with thanks to my college friend Georgia), I got a nice little collection of Hemingway and Fitzgerald books: Fitzgerald's The Beautiful and the Damned, This Side of Paradise, and Tender Is The Night; Hemingway's Old Man and the Sea, For Whom the Bell Tolls, A Farewell to Arms, and A Moveable Feast.
I'll be a well-read girl, oh yes, I will!
