interesting day
Oct. 11th, 2003 08:05 pmTHE YANKEES ROCK! Anyone see the game? Anyone see the Boston Red Sox pitcher practically body slam Don Zimmer? Pretty exciting stuff.
This morning I experienced my first hangover. I rarely drink, and very seldom get drunk when I do drink, so although I'll be 23 next month, 'hungover' has never been a good description of me. Until this mornng.
I stayed at Sari's last night. We went to the lounge on the corner of her building, Link, and got drunk there thanks to the Stoli Raspberry and Sprite we'd had at her place and the green apple martinis we ordered at Link. Shreya finally met up with us and we headed to Go, but not before Sari could get hit on by her brother's hot friend who's studying to be a cardiologist. Woowee!
Go was crowded with men with wandering hands. Sari and I lost Shreya when she went off to talk to her ex-boyfriend and we had turned to the bar to order 2 vodka cranberrys. So we spent half an hour pretending to be each other's girlfriend each time some random guy tried to grope us as we searched for Shreya. LMAO.
We cabbed it back to Union Square by 4 am and dropped into bed, only to wake up at 730 (Sari can't sleep late). Dude. Hangovers suck. And mine was mild, I think. I also think I woke up still drunk. Hmmm. Headache lasted all day. Stomach was fine. Had large omelette full of stuff with side of home fries, no problem.
Dinner was chicken, mashed potatoes, and veggies from Boston Market, am now fuller then is comfortable. Now we are trying to decide which movie to watch. I want to watch "How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days" but no one else does. Raph wants to watch "Top Secret" and I am fine with that, but am keeping to my movie choice just to annoy him. LOL.
