rambles before bed
Nov. 2nd, 2003 09:17 pmI spent the entire day with my sisters at Philipsburg Manor. I was exhausted the whole time, and my body ached in punishment for my not working out in so long then breaking into a too-fast jog without stretching first on Friday. Also, have been having strange headaches I think are linked with poor sleep, or so I hope they are, otherwise, I'm scurred. But it was actually a great place to visit, and a perfect, perfect day to be outdoors. Learned tons about Dutch colonial life on the manor, and took some fabulous pictures for Brenda to include in her scrapbook.
Being in Sleepy Hollow, I saw all these references to the Legend and it made me want to read Washington Irving's book. Have added to my Amazon wish list, which is being controlled and edited by Sari, my birthday party planner.
Just noticed my wish list is pitiful. Must remember to add more books tomorrow at work, as my connection there is much, much faster.
Have begun the OotP reread and am enjoying it immensely.
And now, am off toburnstraight-iron my hair. And sleep. Sweet, delicious sleep. :)
