moving out, natti's competition + beef stroganoff

I have come to a decision that is meant to salvage what's left of my sanity: I am going to find an apartment and move out. Ericka's apartment is simply beautiful. She did a ton of work to it to get it that way, but in a few short months, she had it ready to show off, and it looks amazing. I had come to the decision before even getting to her place that I am going to look for an apartment in either Queens or Brooklyn (one bedroom, doorman, if anyone has any recs). But upon seeing her place, I know have a new excitement about having my own space to decorate and what not.

Now, to calm my nerves! Oy!

queenofserpents had her first cheerleading competition as a varsity cheerleader today. It was a great time, with squads from all over New York demonstrating their cheering prowess. Alas, many of them had prowess exceeding that of Nat's squad. They came home a bit disappointed, but a lot more interested in working to improve. They have the potential, and I'm sure they can do it!

And in cooking news, I made beef stroganoff today! It's a dish I enjoy but have never attempted before. It came out pretty good. I'd say a strong 7 of 10. Now I have to go wrap up the leftovers for my dad...who went to a friend's house for dinner with my mom, but saw me cooking before they left and requested that some be set aside for him.
