It's taken a long time
to feel I'm ready
once again to love
Many nights spent
wondering and
crying alone in
my bed
So many empty
heartbeats
And endless silent tears
Days of solitude
And nights torn apart
by fears.
Still I know you're out there
Getting reading for me
As I lie in wait for you
