Christmas and what not
Dec. 23rd, 2003 10:48 amAm SO NOT ready for Christmas. The first wave of gift-giving took place last night, with my girls from Rockland. I gave them each a Nine West wallet, a shower gel whose container was in the shape of a candy cane, and a cutie mint or candy cane flavored lip balm. It was nice getting together with them, as I haven't done since my birthday party a month ago. Also, it's fun to dish about stuff and shock the hell out of them by telling them I'm looking to move the hell outta Rockland. LOL. Got home late, though, and am paying a dear, dear price for it today. *yawn*
Have been reading The Da Vinci Code. Is too enjoyable for words. Am going back to read the entries of those of you who have read this book to see what your opinions were.
Tonight have Ericka's Christmas party, for which I still have to purchase a gift for Ericka and Georgia. Also, still have to purchase gifts for Raph's parents, my parents, and Raph. And gift wrapping materials.
AND THEN I have to wrap gifts. ALL of them. Between tonight and tomorrow.
Have put apartment search on hold until after the holidays, but had voice mail from a realtor waiting for me this morning at work. Mind you, I had called to inquire about an apartment with this woman last week, and gave her no indication I wanted to pay her 12-15% of the first year's rent for her to be my exclusive Apartment Shower, but she wrote down my info and name, and called. I may call her back...still haven't decided.
In meantime, Starbucks eggnog latte = not so good.
