But really, just a few. Have headache. Am trying to prevent self from getting sick. Doctor's appt. on Thursday, though.

*I think I am caught up on flist, but I could have missed something...you know me. So if there is anything you thought I'd have a reaction to and I didn't seem to, please, bring it to my attention.

*This morning, a homeless man at the subway station requested that I swipe him through with me. I declined, and promptly went to another part of the station, where I turned and noticed that a man behind me was swiping him through. Hmm.

*Am v. excited about this. V. excited, indeed. [livejournal.com profile] chandrah, maybe we can meet at a concert this time 'round, since we missed each other during the Black & Blue tour...

*Finally, does anyone have any recs for short stories? It's a genre I haven't really explored, and would like to v. much. Prefered pairings: H/Hr, D/G, D/Hr, R/Hr. I'll even take a good H/G. Thanks, y'all.

Also *hugs* to you-know-who. And by that I mean everyone who needs them. :)

Off to nurse headache, sign forms, and get to lunch.

I cannot believe that my job mainly consists of dealing with incompetent fools. I just got a phone call, after dealing with many, many other Incompetents, from one of the major ones. She was apparently incapable of picking up the directory and looking up the extension of a professor she needed to contact. She for whatever ASININE reason thought he was in Economics, although the paperwork she was looking at said MANAGEMENT, and asked ME to look up his address and what not. When I asked if she had a directory, she answered yes, but when she called Economics, they said he wasn't there.

He's not there because he's in MANAGEMENT. Which means she did not look at her directory, or does not know how to read it. From my past experiences with this woman, I'd wager it is the latter.

This, after being told by the woman conducting my Purchasing Services phone survey that Stern (my school) has the highest number of people buying office equipment directly and wanting to be reimbursed, which is VERY MUCH against NYU policy. UGH. Although it is not my fault, I feel that it kind of is because maybe I, and the Budget Office in general, am not communicating the policies effectively.

Want to go home. Curl up in ball. Sleep. GRRR.
