to do list
Apr. 14th, 2004 11:07 amIt's the best way to make sure that even if I don't get everything done, I feel proper and frequent guilt for not doing it. The dreaded TO DO LIST.
In no particular order (because if I were good at prioritizing, I wouldn't need this list):
-Call VISA and have them take off the random erroneous $161.85 charge for AT&T Worldnet service. This must be left over from when I tried to sign up for AT&T DSL, and then decided not to because Verizon is cheaper. I canceled the service, but not before they had a chance to ship me the DSL modem. I shipped it back to them immediately using their own return label. I dropped it in the UPS dropbox in the lobby of my building. Thought that was the end of it. This was, by the way, 2 months ago, at least.
-Try to call AT&T again to see what the hell their problem is. I tried 2 different numbers before, and the wait was so long at one that I couldn't wait, and the other one was so long THEY hung up on ME!They were no help. Again.
-Wedding: ask the people I have chosen to be my bridesmaids to do me the honor. Sad when something like this has to be put on a to do list. GRR.
-Respond to the several emails I have waiting in my inbox.
-Initiate a rather difficult email (or couple of emails) to certain people.Ended up being 3. Eep.
-Write up the Avon bills for the 2 coworkers who ordered Avon from me, and give them their products.
-Print out the sublease agreement I typed up for my dad and mail it from NYU mail services.
-Buy a dress to wear to the wedding Raph and I are attending in Pennsylvania this weekend.
And this list does not include the many things that need doing in my apartment. Oh, dear.
Edited to add: Struck out completed items. Add to list the following:
Find out what happened to the GAP underwear I ordered from gap.com that I was TOLD was delivered, but has not, in fact, arrived.
