time travel and wizarding aging
Mar. 13th, 2003 12:13 pmHave been spending quite some time contemplating time travel and how it is possible to see *yourself* when traveling back in time and have considered the Ron = Dumbledore theory quite a bit. Had a convo with
supershai about it the other day, whereupon we figured out how it is possible that Dumbledore is really Ron gone back in time 130 years. Possible, but not likely, because what would JKR's motivations for that be?
Not that JKR needs all that much motivation to do crazy things: can we say Cedric? (RIP, *sniff*)

Now, on to wizarding and their rates of aging. I have just one question: if wizards and witches age "slower" than Muggles, meaning they live longer and are "middle-aged" at 70 rather than 40-50, then doesn't it stand to reason that teenaged wizards and witches should be as mature as 10 year olds?
