I continue to neglect my lj and then feel guilty about it.

Extremely random update follows, as am supposed to be signing multitude of forms at work and can only write a couple of sentences at time.

First, DV12: great. Cannot bear to wait as long for DV13 as did for this one. Want very badly to know about Ron and his exploits chez Voldie, and am in dire need of resolving Harry/Draco issues, of which there are many. What's the deal with Hermione? Loving Harry, even as a friend, is difficult. She seems not to have made up her mind yet how she feels about him. The breaking of the ring he gave her whilst making out with Draco = symbolic. I think it's interesting how Draco and Hermione needed each other to block out the pain of loving Harry and how worried they both are. Even while Draco lies dying, his thoughts are with Harry, and of how he sufferes without him. Harry is so influential, and is literally the glue that holds this dysfunctional family together. Ginny...what can I say. Loved the scenes with Ben and Gareth in her bedroom. Am mortally curious as to what the flower represents, and why she is the anchor, and what that means. Am also very interested in the time travel element of Gareth's and Ben's appearance in Ginny's bedroom. They went...forward in time? I didn't know it was possible to go forward to a time that has not happened yet in your own lifetime. Does that make any sense? Comment me about it.

Second, CoS DVD: am in love. Cannot stop watching B & B deleted scene, which, incidentally, should not have been deleted. Honestly. So what if it does nothing at all for the plot, given the rest of the stuff that was left out? It's called EYE CANDY, Chris Columbus! Never underestimate the power of Eye Candy and what it can do for the popularity of your film. Have purchased CoS Soundtrack from Amazon Marketplace seller; do not own SS soundtrack, but the music on the CoS deleted scenes board is so damn cute, I could not resist. Plus, 9 bucks. Not bad.

Third, HWATF7: *thud* I already knew [livejournal.com profile] lorax523 is a good writer, having read Paradigm of Uncertainty and The Show That Never Ends, both of which were divine reads. But since it's been so LONG since HWATF6, I guess I was just in [livejournal.com profile] lorax523 withdrawal. Regardless, I must say that this is my favorite characterization of Harry. I think it's pretty much the only adult!Harry I've ever read. All my other Harrys have always been in Hogwarts. But this Harry, 28 and powerful, and damn sexy, is amazing. I love to read about him. I love to read about Hermione and how she grew up to be an independent, intelligent woman. I LOVE IT. It's H/H, and everyone knows I don't have a fave ship, but this is the kind of story that will make you change your mind about the pumpkin pie. No joke. I have nothing constructive to say about the chapter, I will probably write a little review thingy later on, but suffice to say that it was brilliant, and made me laugh and tear up at [livejournal.com profile] lorax523's will. *contended sigh*

Odds and ends: have written a (bad) R/H smut cookie. No, I won't be posting it here. It needs massive editing, and after reading [livejournal.com profile] liss1224's Draco/Hermione shaglet, cannot bring self to even look at my horrid writing to edit it at all. Am shamed.

Still patiently waiting for new chapter of PH to beta. For reference, the last chapter came to me for beta same time as DV11. No pressure, though, [livejournal.com profile] supershai!

Am taking self off to attend to my work, and to print out some of [livejournal.com profile] liss1224's "Love is a Battlefield. My love for H/H revived, I am looking for material. :)
