There is just no delicate way to have a discussion about such a charged topic, so it's understandable that tempers fly high during these times. I still remain on the side of to each his own. You don't prefer to read stories involving gay romantic pairings? Don't. But keep your mouth shut and don't read them. There is no reason to criticize or preach your own personal dogma. I definitely do not agree that not preferring to read stories containing slash automatically qualifies a person as homophobic. If it's easier, let's talk pairings themselves, not necessarily sexual orientation. I like to read Harry/Hermione. I do not like to read Snape/Hermione. These are both heterosexual pairings. And what of that?
