Days later, the slash debate is still going on. There is just no delicate way to have a discussion about such a charged topic, so it's understandable that tempers fly high during these times. I still remain on the side of to each his own. You don't prefer to read stories involving gay romantic pairings? Don't. But keep your mouth shut and don't read them. There is no reason to criticize or preach your own personal dogma. I definitely do not agree that not preferring to read stories containing slash automatically qualifies a person as homophobic. If it's easier, let's talk pairings themselves, not necessarily sexual orientation. I like to read Harry/Hermione. I do not like to read Snape/Hermione. These are both heterosexual pairings. And what of that?

*stepping away from this subject, as cannot express self as eloquently on topic as others have, but wished to throw 2 sickles in*

1: The fandom is crazy. Is there a full moon tonight? Everywhere in the world? Can we all just please get along? Can we make new friends and keep old ones? Please?

2: Have written exactly 3 sentences of Harry essay. Have emailed pitiful start to self for completion tomorrow during work. Am taking myself off to bed, as is past the time I have decided is acceptable for me to sleep for minimum displeasure come morning.
