Much cheerier today despite the fact that although Paul did show up here, he is so slippery that he managed to not pay me back yet again. Basically, he is on my shitlist and it is not a good place to be. I can't let go of things. I think I may have mentioned that once or twice here.
I have had the craziest day! But my friend Sari and I are planning my birthday party (which will be in mid-November) and my friends
meres15, Jessica, and I have been planning our spa trip (early November) so there is a light at the end of my tunnel.
The networking event I was going to sacrifice myself for tonight is not even open to me. I was going to take a later bus home in order to attend, but it turns out when they said "recent grads" they meant only "2003 grads" and I have the misfortune of being from the class of 2002. Bastards. They JUST sent the email 5 minutes ago. Hmph.
My workload, which has been annoying but light all week, just got annoying and very, very heavy. I am writing now while surrounded by piles and piles of forms that need to be thoroughly double-checked and approved, then sent on to Accounts Payable (who will call and ask me inane questions anyway).
*hugs* for
chrismiss. Hang in there, babe.
Oh, and I have a newfound appreciated for SMUT
lissinthecity's recs from this morning.
Am leaving office now. Was going to read Tithe on bus, but have printed out Unexpected so will read that first.
