the auction, good day, and beddy-bye
Oct. 6th, 2003 10:14 pmThe auction is going all right. There are about 20 minutes left on the thing, and Raph has met with a very interested buyer who is currently the highest bidder. This bike is selling tonight, peeps, and I couldn't be happier!
On another note, I had a lovely day. I met up with Pat and Lindsay for breakfast at Fuelray Cafe, where I had lunch that time and got so much personal attention I felt like I was at home with relatives I don't see often who want to spoil and pamper me. This time the owner lady wasn't quite as pampering, but I think that's because I had people with me, whereas last time I was alone. She was still wicked nice, though. We even got to have a free chai each, which was so awesome, we each bought another chai to go.
Lindsay, Jenny, Tiffany, and I had a little business meeting about our Secret Project. I think it went well, but there are a lot of things to consider. It is definitely a one step forward two steps back process.
I got to chat with
supershai on AIM today. LOFF her so much, and have missed her busy-bee little butt. :)
guardian_writer writes awesome encouraging emails. Thanks, buddy.
I met up with my friend from college, Natalie, today. I hadn't seen her since my July 4th bbq! I've missed her dearly. We were sitting on the plaza in front of Tisch Hall when a man approached us and tried to sell us a spa treatment package for $60. We made all kinds of excuses for not buying it, then as soon as the guy left we turned to each other and said, "Hey that was a pretty good deal, why didn't we buy it?" Alas, it was too late to catch him. Ah, well, next time.
Fell so deeply asleep on commute home that I missed 50 minutes of it, and it was shorter than normal due to Yom Kippur, so I was a happy girl. Now, am off to read Tithe, which is so good that I have to now order The Spiderwick Series, then sleep. Ta!
