markiraSo, I am trying to pass the time while I wait till morning, when I will pick the sister up at Port Authority to begin our Harry weekend. I said there'd be more HBP talk, and here it goes!
Things I Expect to Happen in HBP
*I mentioned this before, but I really am excited to see this. We found out at the end of OotP that Neville's been using his dad's wand all his life. Wonder what using a wand that chooses him will do for his magic-making!
*Fred and George have premises for Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes. If Hogsmeade weekends are still permitted (and I think they will be, but with Voldie War 2 going on, can't be sure), I know Harry, Ron, Hermione, and others will be visiting!
*We'll see the Dementors in their new Ministry-defying roles...presumably, they had stopped obeying the Ministry around the time those 10 Death Eaters busted out of Azkaban, but I don't remember whether that was stated in the text.
*We'll learn more about James, Lily, and Petunia. I'd really love to know more about the Evans family, and Petunia's motivations for keeping Harry. Yes, she agreed to do it, but why? She still could have decided not to. Why does she continue to keep her word to Dumbledore? What does she get in return?
*We'll see lots more of Luna. She and Harry will be friends, and maybe she and Hermione might even make amends. Hermione has very little patience for Luna, and while I kind of understand, since Hermione is about pragmatism and logic and Luna is about whimsy and dreaminess, Hermione's pretty obnoxious to Luna. In fact, it'd be cool to have Luna snap at Hermione one time.
